About Villa Esplendorosa
Esplendorosa features five luxurious master suites with private baths and sitting areas. The beautiful furniture and woodwork are hand crafted from local hardwoods by craftsman trained by some of the best artisans in Europe with unparalleled attention to detail. All 5 Master Suites are essentially the same size and floor plan.
Four of the Master Suites are situated on the main level and have vaulted ceilings that create a dramatic affect. Three of these four have Spectacular Ocean Views, the other opens to a peaceful Bamboo Tropical Garden. The 5th bedroom is located on the lower level on the Southeast Corner that affords a Spectacular Ocean View. Each Master Suite features a King Bed , flat screen TV an inside sitting area and a shaded sitting area outisde the bedroom on the expansive terrace.
In the morning, relax with a cup of rich Panamanian coffee or head to the Villa’s private gym, sauna and steam room to meet the day with vigor. Later you can bask in the warm sun or take cover in the shade of the “Rancho”, a luxurious outdoor living area that is elevated on the third level of the villa where fresh breezes and spectacular ocean views greet you. After the sun goes down, retire to the lower level entertainment complex that features a home theatre, game room and full bar.
Activities Near Villa Esplenderosa
Biking and Hiking; a trail winds through the valleys of Azueros from Villa Esplendorosa to the beach, making for excellent hiking and biking adventures. Complementary mountain bikes are available for guest use.
Fishing and Boating; the blue waters of the Pacific, Panama’s famed “”Tuna Coast””, offer some of the finest fishing for both angling enthusiasts and those who just trying their luck for a day. The rich Pacific teems with Dolphin, Yellowfin Tuna, Black and Blue Marlins, Wahoo, Amberjack, Sierra Mackerel, Grouper and Snapper. Whales, orcas and porpoises can also be spotted on almost all excursions. A basic day outing with a local skipper includes a trip to Isla Iguana and several hours of fishing off shore.
Snorkeling and Diving; just seven kilometers off the coast of Azueros lies the 58-hectare dry tropical forest of the Iguana Island Wildlife Refuge, ideal for diving and snorkeling. The Isla Canas Wildlife Refuge is sometimes called the most Caribbean of all the Pacific Islands because of its white sand, crystal water and large coral reef. Isla Cañas is the nesting site for thousands of large sea turtles each year from August to November. For a great daytrip, take a boat through the mangrove-covered inlets and explore Canas Island’s tranquil beaches.
Surfing; when the surf is just right, there is an excellent break within walking distance from Villa Esplendorosa. Alternatively, there are several other surf breaks within a 20-30 minute drive.
Sea Kayaking; kayaking is excellent right out in front of the resort, where you can explore surrounding beaches and coral. Sea kayaks are provided complimentary to villa guests.
