The subdivision of Las Cascadas has been in the stages of development for approximately two and a half years. The “mother finca” was originally under contract in February of 2005 and purchased in September of 2005. Architects were hired in December of 2005 to design and create blueprints. Those original blueprints were given “pre-project” approval in January of 2007.

After the pre-project approval it was discovered that there were changes that needed to be made to the original blueprints. The perimeter survey showed an increase of approximately 2 hectares and a road had to be moved over so as not to obstruct natural spring water. The lower park area was increased to accommodate natural spring flow and another lot was added to the subdivision.
